What does Alessandra think of Self Love?
The experience is certainly different from love for others. The energy is wider and it incorporates a greater mass of energy. It is a strange feeling if not felt before. The mind needs to be focused on the entire self without even one thought about others. It requires more self control and determination without guilt, or thinking that it is selfish. The experience becomes rather interesting. It is fairly similar to a paddock full of colourful wild flowers growing everywhere.
This energy only becomes fully developed after having experienced all the different ways that loving others more than the self, results in disappointments and un-fulfilment.
The loving of the self 100% becomes reality after a period of practicing loving the self each day more and more, by watching the feelings that rise up inside the body as the person is wanting to become a professional lover of the Self.
It has taken many centuries for a woman to get the courage to put herself first, while also being kind, caring and loving to others.
This is only my view point about Self Love from the experiences that I have been living since 1985 when I first heard about that love comes from within and I need to learn to love myself first and foremost, before I can truly love my family and other. “The amount of love you have for yourself you will have also for others.” They said to me at a course, and I replied “I want my husband to love me not me love me.” How wrong was I, so the tedious job of braking down the barriers started, and here I am now after all those years still improving and polishing my love for the Self? Just like we do with a diamond. We keep polishing the ruff stone until it shines and bedazzles us. God bless.
